The temple was built as a memorial to the vaishnav saint, Sri Raghvendra and is a very important place for people who follow Vaishnav. The temple is completely free as visitors do not need to buy any ticket to go inside it. What are the Times to visit the Mantrayalam Temple?

The temple opens at 6 in the morning for the morning darshan where the cleansing also takes place using holy water. After this, the Mangala aarti is done and if you want to see everything in the temple then, this Aarti is a must as Sri Raghavendra is adorned with jewels and clothes. Morning Darshan 6 am – 2 pm
Evening Darshan 4 pm – 9 pm
Tirtha Prasada (food) 1 pm – 3 pm
Swamiji Darshan 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Seva Sankalpa 8 am – 9 am

Apart from this, Mahapooja to Moola Rama is carried out at noon and Mantrashakta is completed between 10 am to 11:30 am. There is no need for Mantralayam temple darshan online booking as there are no tickets required to enter the temple and be a part of all the rituals.

History of Mantralayam Temple

We have already told you that the temple is dedicated to Sri Raghavendra Swamy who lived in the 16th century and the important thing that you need to know is that he was considered to be an incarnation of Prahlad.
